A young girl and her mother who died in a devastating house fire have been named and pictured for the first time. Mayci Fox, four, lost her life in the fire at a former station house in Rushton, Northamptonshire.
Her mother, Emma Conn, 30, from Desborough, and Louie Thorn, 23, from Rushton, also died in the blaze on Friday night. A man was arrested on suspicion of murder but has since been released without charge.
Flames engulfed the converted railway station in Beswick Close, Rushton, at around 10:30pm on Friday. Despite the efforts of emergency services, Mayci, Emma, and Louie all died at the scene. Three police officers were also taken to hospital after inhaling smoke.
A 54-year-old man from Kettering was arrested on suspicion of murder but has since been released with no further action.
