Prince William and Kate Middleton have shared a touching new picture of their family as a heartfelt thank-you to a fan.
The unexpected gift from Kensington Palace, which was accompanied by a personalised message, came in reply to a festive card sent by an avid royal follower.
In the photograph, the Prince and Princess of Wales can be seen with children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louiswalking outside the church at Sandringham for the Christmas Day service.
Taking to social media to share their correspondence with the world, an account named Duchess of Wonderland showed off the photo and dubbed it a “lovely surprise”.
