A 33-year-old man has been stabbed to death in a “violent attack” in east London.
The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation following the incident, which occurred at approximately 3pm on Saturday, in Lea Bridge Road, Waltham Forest.
The man died at the scene despite the best efforts of emergency services.
No arrests have been made, but a knife has been recovered. Acting Superintendent Jack Callaghan described the stabbing as a “violent attack” and said there would be more police officers in the area over the coming days.
