Amazing Spaces presenter George Clarke is the latest victim of theft near Oxford Street. The 50-year-old architect, known for property shows like The Restoration Man, revealed he was held at knifepoint and had his watch stolen.
The Channel_4 star admitted he feared he “could have been stabbed” during the incident on Monday. His representative confirmed to the Standard that the robbery took place near Oxford Circus.
The father-of-three assured fans he was “ok” but shared his frustration, saying he felt “angry” for letting the attacker escape.
Clarke admitted he had the urge to fight back but worried he would “be done for assault” as he recounted the harrowing experience to his 240,000 Instagram followers.
