A teenager has died after being stabbed on a London bus today. The boy was travelling on the 472 bus route in Woolwich, southeast London, when the attack occurred.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at approximately 2:28 pm following reports of a stabbing in the area.
The incident took place on the 472 bus on Woolwich Church Road, near its junction with the A205 South Circular Road. Paramedics found a 14-year-old boy at the scene suffering from stab wounds.
Despite their best efforts, the boy sadly died shortly after crews from the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance arrived.
The road remains cordoned off, and an investigation has been launched. No arrests have yet been made, according to the police.
