Three teenagers have died in a horrific car crash in Wakefield.
According to West Yorkshire Police, an 18-year-old and two 19-year-olds died after the car they were in collided with a tree on Friday evening.
The crash occurred just outside the village of West Bretton at around 8.30pm last night. They had been driving a black Seat Ibiza along the road towards Woolley.
Emergency services were called to the scene, where two passengers aged 19 and the driver, aged 18, were confirmed to have died.
Two other passengers, both male, were taken to hospital. One remains in hospital with injuries described as life-threatening. The other man has injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
