A TEENAGE boy has tragically died in a fireworks accident on New Year’s Eve. Emergency services made desperate attempts to resuscitate the youngster, but were unsuccessful.
The exact circumstances of the incident remain unclear. However, Dutch authorities have confirmed that the adolescent boy died after a firework exploded in his hands in Rotterdam.
The boy sustained fatal injuries at approximately 8:30 pm this evening.
Reports suggest he was found on a tram track. It is not yet known whether he ignited the firework himself or if it malfunctioned.
